In this brief excerpt from the course, Grace, Not Law: Galatians, Dr. Barber discusses how Christians, members of Jesus' Mystery Body, are to yield to Holy Spirit within us, esteeming Christ in us, not our old dead man, and bearing the sin-burden of other members of Jesus' Body when they sin.

By yielding to Jesus' Spirit in us, we do not esteem our old dead man who died with Christ on the Cross when we first believed, and we do not condemn and scapegoat other members of Jesus' Body for any reason, 'cutting off' Body parts of Jesus' Body, but maintain "the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" (Ephesians 4:3b).

Do you esteem yourself or Jesus? Do you scapegoat other members of Jesus' Body, or bear their excessive burdens?
