MAST demonstration at Aberdeen Proving Ground Md

An aerial vehicle is demonstrated at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, on August 22, 2017. The prototype vehicle was developed based a decade of research conducted by Army Research Laboratory as well as partners in academia and industry. The research was conducted as part of the Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology Collaborative Technology Alliance study, called MAST CTA for short. The goal of MAST CTA was to develop autonomous robotic “teammates” that can move out on their own without additional guidance, and collect situational awareness information for Soldiers.
