Hi everyone, and welcome back to the Self-improvement Zone.

The Strings of the Ladder is a unique project that started about 20 years ago and included the preparation of arrangements for classical guitar on the tunes of Baal Hasulam (the ladder owner). For the work, I adhered to the singing of Rabbi Baruch Ashlag, the eldest son of the author of the tunes, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Halevi Ashlag, who was known as "Baal Hasulem" - because his commentary "The Ladder" that he wrote on the holy Zohar the book of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai - Rashbi. As mentioned, Zohar was written by nine of his students in a cave in Galilee in the second century AD. Rabash sucked the tunes from his father's activities at meals with students, holidays, and special events since the first half of the last century. The accuracy of the source of the tunes is of great value, as I will explain later on. I processed the tunes and recorded them in the studio of my dear friend Gamaliel Sasportas for long hours and days. A work that produced a CD and a booklet of arrangements.
In the current video, I will talk about the characteristics of Kabbalistic music, using different examples of tunes in the background. In the following parts, I will expand from the macro to the micro and examine the details (if any) behind every melody.
