Chapter 61 1970 TransAm Clone - Tow Eyes and Rear Spoiler

Installed nutsert rivets to hold down rear window to trunk filler panel.
Installed front and rear windshield trim studs.
Test fit rear glass.

Installed duel heavy duty torsion rods for the trunk lid
Reinstalled and adjusted trunk lid.
Test fitted rear wing and assess rear wing repairs and modifications.

Removed hood hinge and inspected to verify failure of components.
Marked out mounting holes for driver side rear wheel flares.
Fabricated tow hook mounts
Cut down grille brackets to fit behind nose cone.

Installed grille inserts into nose cone.
Made mounting tabs for lower grille inserts.

Fabricated lower valance grille insert mounting tabs & brackets
Replaced headlight bracket bushing for chrome trim.
Inspected vehicle and update list of items to complete prior to paint work
Metal work on roof to quarter panel fitment
Driver fender to firewall bracket metal finished in prep for paint.

Fit head light brackets into nose cone.

Continued on driver side flare installation.
Finished fabrication of trunk latch bracket

Welded to trunk lid and tested
Evened the a pillar gap to fender.

Smoothed out drivers side trunk jam
Installed driver and passenger side rear wheel flare
