Today's maintenance involves replacing batteries in the furnace thermostat and replacing the water and air filters in the refrigerator. These maintenance requirements occurred during the same week and in winter.

Thermostat manufacturer and model:
Honeywell TH3210D1004

There is a lot of smart thermostats and from an energy perspective, the experts indicate a set and forget approach. The thermostat is set to 74 in the Winter and 72 in the Summer. Additional energy saving tips are illustrated in the video.

Note from LG:
After the water filter is replaced, dispense 2.5 gallons of water (flush for approximately 5 minutes) to remove trapped air and contaminants from the system. Do not dispense the entire 2.5 gallon amount continuously. Press and release the dispenser pad for cycles of 30 seconds ON and 60 seconds OFF.
