Film is Dead - Long Live Film (Docu) 2024 TCM

This is an excellent Documentary done by Peter Flynn which examines the devotion and sometimes eccentricities of those who have dedicated their lives to collecting, salvaging, restoring and preserving an abundance of historical artifacts and remnants from the past, much of which had been on the brink of deterioration and total oblivion, while much has already been lost through the eroded decaying that time has inflicted on documented works that had been neglected and not properly kept or maintained. The individuals presented have searched and maintained an important record of our world, what we were, and how we lived and defined it while being part of it, and hopes it doesn't get relegated into the forgotten past.
