Putin: Putin: Russia will respond to strikes with Western weapons, including Oreshnik.

Decision-making centers in Kiev may become a target for the Oreshnik missile, Putin said. Everything in the center of the explosion turns to ashes!

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a press conference in Kazakhstan following his state visit to Kazakhstan and the CSTO summit.

In particular, Putin answered questions regarding the attack of the new Russian Oreshnik missile on Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin noted that Russia will always respond to the use of Western long-range missiles against targets deep in Russian territory.

Vladimir Putin said that Russia will respond to ongoing strikes with Western long-range weapons, including possible continuation of combat tests of the Oreshnik hypersonic missile system.

In addition, the Russian leader noted that Russia has repeatedly drawn attention to the fact that such a decision by the West means direct involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. Russia knows how many weapons have already been delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and how many more are planned.

At the same time, the Russian Kh-101 missile already significantly exceeds the capacity of Western aid to Kyiv. The head of state recalled that it operates at a greater range.

Also, the Iskander is an analogue of all three modifications of the ATACMS. The Russian hypersonic systems have no analogues in the world, and their production is increasing.

The President noted that the enemy has already received a response in the form of strikes by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for two days.

"It was quite complex — 90 missiles were used in the strike and 100 unmanned attack vehicles. 17 facilities on the territory of Ukraine were hit," the Russian leader stressed.

Putin added that the choice of weapons during strikes will depend on the targets of destruction. Whether the use of Western missiles to launch attacks on Russian territory will continue, you need to ask "Westerners who do this," the president noted.

"The Kiev authorities today continue attempts to strike at our vital facilities, including in St. Petersburg and Moscow," Putin concluded.

Decision-making centers in Kiev may become a target for the Oreshnik missile, Putin said.

According to him, the Russian General Staff and the Ministry of Defense are now selecting targets for Hazel strikes on the territory of Ukraine.

Putin also called the current Ukrainian authorities "usurpers" and added that they are "completely illegitimate" and have no right to give orders to the military.

At the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, Putin also announced that the possible massive use of the Oreshnik in one strike could be compared in its power to the use of nuclear weapons.

Recall that serial production of these newest missile systems has already begun.
