The Fort of San Miguel is a fortification built in the city of San Francisco de Campeche, Campeche, Mexico and, due to its dimensions and its history, it is one of the most representative buildings in the city. It integrates, together with the fort of San José El Alto and the wall, the set of fortified buildings built between the 17th and 18th centuries to defend the city against a possible attack by pirates.

Campeche is located on the Yucatán Peninsula in the southeastern region of the country, bordering to the north and northeast with Yucatán, to the east with Quintana Roo, to the south with the department of Petén in Guatemala and Belize, to the west with the Gulf of Mexico and to the southwest with Tabasco.
