Veggie Koftas with Creamy Masala Sauce | Potato & Cauliflower Koftas with Curry Sauce

Ingredients:

Koftas:
2 medium sized potatoes (grated and drained)
1/2 cauliflower (grated)
1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
2 chillies (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder

oil for deep-frying

Masala Sauce:
2 tbsp ghee or oil
2 finely chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped ginger
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 x 2inch cinnamon stick
2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup cream
100g spinach leaves
