An episode from the assault on Ilyinka in the Kurakhovsky direction by fighters from the assault detachment of the 33rd motorized rifle regiment of the 20th motorized rifle division. The enemy put up fierce resistance.

As a result of competent and coordinated actions, the enemy was driven into the basement of the building by the stormtroopers, but continued to shoot back and fire. The enemy did not agree to the proposals to surrender and save their lives.

After a successfully thrown grenade, out of 3 Nazis, only 1 remained.

The surviving soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces went on air to his commander and said that his situation was hopeless and he did everything he could, but the command of the airborne battalion of the 79th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed their nickname and decided that they did not need living heroes.

As a result, having thrown away the grenades, the wounded Ukrainian soldier jumped out of the breach near the building and ran to look for his promised “brothers-in-arms,” but met only our attack aircraft.
