no voice quick unimportant gameplay OG-ASE 013

On the server again. Now discouraged with the recent panic of my mods broke my single player. Turns out they didn't but I had to remove them to find out. There isn't enough room to backup. Stuck playing in real time. Kinda makes investigating mods hard when you can't backup single player.

Anyway to recap the mod problem. It seems none of them "broke" my game. Instead a mod idk which one reset my chemistry engrams to being unticked. When I tried to tick them nothing happened. When I did a verify installation with Steam all I got was a long time about an hour annoying wait. I tried killing my character per someone's instruction on reddit but that did nothing. I tried making a new blank character with the mods removed and that only proved you can make a new blank character with the mods removed. Finally I just logged into my character with all mods unsubbed and took the damage of my constructions going poof. Then and only then did I get the chemistry engrams to work and was able to select them.

Without being able to backup single player mode working with mods is impossible. I'm kinda stuck in multiplayer now. Because it's to boring to play on single player without some kinda boon to make it exciting.
