On March 25th, 2022, Thomas Michael McCloskey was arrested by the Eustis Police Department after his truck was observed swerving across multiple lanes, leading to suspicions of intoxication. Despite warnings of charges, she remained confrontational, leading to her arrest and continued verbal abuse towards staff and officers. Her mother defended her, disbelieving the accusations. Eventually, Delia was charged with Battery on School Personnel, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, and Resisting, even after her mother filed a complaint against the officer.
