Jesus is fully human and fully divine, which means He has two sides to His identity:

As the Son of Man, Jesus came to earth to be one of us, to walk among us, to feel what we feel, and to show us how to live. He's called the Son of Man because He shared in our humanity, our struggles, and even our pain.

Daniel 7:13-14 talks about a "Son of Man" coming with clouds, who gets all the power and glory from God. This means Jesus, though human, was destined to rule forever. - This shows Jesus' connection to us and His ultimate victory.

As the Son of God, Jesus is not just a human leader; He's part of the Godhead, the divine Trinity. He's not created; He's always existed with God the Father. This means He has the power to forgive sins, perform miracles, and bring eternal life.

John 1:1-14 explains that Jesus, called the Word, was with God from the very beginning, and everything was made through Him. Then, this Word became a human and lived among us. - This shows Jesus' divine nature and His purpose of coming to earth.

When Jesus was baptized, Matthew 3:17 records God's voice from heaven saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." - This moment confirms Jesus' divine identity straight from God.

So, Jesus being both human and divine is crucial. It means He understands us completely because He's been here, but He's also powerful enough to save us because He's God. This unique position allows Him to bridge the gap between God and humanity, offering us salvation and showing us how to live in a way that pleases God.
