A Thanksgiving Message

It's another time of feasting with family and friends, but we can't forget what this holiday was originally created for. It wasn't about Pilgrims, Indians, or turkeys. No, once again, the original purpose of a National holiday has been stolen away from its Christian Heritage.

In the middle of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln made a proclamation of a Day of Thanksgiving to the Almighty God for His abundant blessings in the midst of tremendous struggle.

Listen to the whole proclamation, and choose to spend a little time thanking God for His goodness in your life this Thanksgiving Day. No matter if everything is perfect in your life right now or it is far from it, there are always things you can choose to thank our Heavenly Father for.
