Nocturnal’s Tale is dedicated to my beloved mother. Thank you mom for your support, love, and encouragement. I love you with all my heart.

During the creation of Nocturnal’s Tale, I found myself diving down the rabbit hole to memories of the past reminiscing about moments that influenced my journey as an artist. I believe that most of us can agree that art makes such a huge impact in our lives that we are multi passionate people.

My passion for art has shaped my life in a multitude of ways. At an early age, I knew art was all I wanted to do. As a teen, I discovered my passion for music as my parents went through a difficult divorce. I spent many hours in my room playing the saxophone—a peace that my soul could embrace.

Art has always been a part of my life. I am a musician, hairstylist, metal sculptor, and silversmith. Being an artist has not only been a life long dream, but a creative outlet and a therapeutic process of healing. When I was a teenager my family took me to see Phantom of the Opera. It was then that I fell in love with story, music, and the mask. I felt a deep connection with the main character, “The Phantom” played by Micheal Crawford. His character showed me that there was more than just a man behind the mask. In some ways I can relate to his pain, solitude, and passion for music. The Phantom wore his mask to cover the scars on his face, as we wear masks to cover the emotional scars of our lives.

I am excited to share this tale of mystery and wonder in expressive and ethereal artworks. My style of painting in watercolor is not traditional. You can expect a lot of rules being broken, and instead see splashes of color, paint drips, and subject matters painted in an atmospheric style.
