UBISOFT Wants STEAM to Stop Showing Player Count | They Want to Hide Their Failures

Ubisoft is reportedly trying to pressure Steam into no showing the concurrent player counts on games following the embarrassing Steam launch of their latest game Star Wars Outlaws.

The only conceivable reason why the developer behind Assassin’s Creed would advocate for obscurity over transparency is because they want to conceal the truth. People have been quick to mock video game developers who embrace woke policies such as Ubisoft. Executives with that company have even acknowledge embracing DEI politics have affected them negatively, but they’re still pushing it because they really believe it. When anyone can see the concurrent player count on Steam then the company can’t spin a bad launch and has to acknowledge to the public and investors that their games aren’t good.
