Airbag passenger OFF light explanation

When having a front passenger, be sure you see *no* OFF passenger airbag light. Some seat sensors may malfunction - some have been recalled. Do not put your knees on the seat cushion when handling items inside the car. Do not put heavy or sharp objects on the seat cushion. Do not puncture the seat cushion. Do not leak fluids on the seat. These sensors are very expensive to replace. Finally, make sure not to use any seat cushion (such as cushion for home chairs). These may affect the sensor operation.
