BABIES AND THEIR GOOD NURSING MEMORY ||

This is really interesting :)

In this video, you'll see that Spencer seems to remember that he had already breastfed from the right breast before he fell asleep.

For this feed, which was straight after he woke up, he automatically went to feed from the left breast, without being prompted, which is unusual because we most often always start our feed from the right breast.

Perhaps he could sense that there was more milk in the left breast - maybe from a baby's keen sense of smell? - or perhaps he did just remember that the last breast he had fed from was the right one, and it was now time for the left one?

In any case, Spencer reminds me on a daily basis just how smart babies and toddlers really are.

I sincerely hope that by sharing my breastfeeding journey I can encourage other women to attempt and persist with, what can be at times, a difficult thing to do.
