The New Orleans Police Department released body camera footage from a shooting during a standoff in the Florida Area neighborhood last month.

The shooting happened during a high-risk warrant related to a murder near Louisa and North Tonti Street.

According to NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick, the murder suspect barricaded himself inside a home in the 3100 block of North Tonti Street on Oct. 6.

Kirkpatrick said the barricaded suspect, Devin Green, 36, opened fire on officers during the standoff.

According to Kirkpatrick, three officers returned fire, but no one was hurt in the shooting.

Kirkpatrick said Green "brazenly" opened fire by exiting the home.

After a nine-hour standoff, Green surrendered.

He is facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder of an officer, 14 counts of attempted first-degree murder, parole violations, and weapons charges.
