Where have all the Mining Traineeships gone? Conversations about Mining

In today’s video I am going to look at what has happened to all the traineeships in mining. I am going to use a BBC article from the start of this month that answers these questions and shows how companies have replaced 100 onsite truck drivers with 2 people off site controlling these driverless trucks. I also cover where in the industry you can get an entry level job and make a career, opposed to a traineeship.

As always it pays to know how the system works to take advantage of it. Knowing how the mine works, is the skill all the employers want, that most New Starters over look when trying to get their first job.
