The Spoilers are Come.

So, prior to me getting involved in Ministry, prior to me becoming an ordained Minster, much of my focus was on music. I was a drummer in many different and varied bands, musical styles. Played a LOT of gigs over the years along with some very talented players. Guys who were very accomplished in their abilities as musicians.

People I'm certain you've NEVER heard of !

I personally have over 40 years of playing experience
on the drum-set, (self taught). I spent many, many years working a full-time job, plus playing in part-time, semi-professional working bands. Actually, I played in 2 working bands at the same time PLUS a full-time job!

But when I really started to apply myself in Biblical studies, the drum playing took a back-seat, respectively so. It takes a great deal of focus to do either, that is drum practice AND Biblical study. Well, it does if your going to be any good at either!

At any rate ~ drumming is still in the ''blood" so to speak. I suspect that'll never go away, nor would I want it to!

Not too long ago, I was looking at various Bible verses and I thought to myself, wow ~ these would make great song lyrics!
SO I began theorizing how I wanted a song to go, style and so forth and so on. .After I figured out a little melody and so forth, I then began the process of whittling down these various Scriptures, and I got it settled to 6 verses from both the Old & New Testaments:
Ezekiel 7:6;
Lamentations 4:18;
Jeremiah 12:12, (where I got the song title from);
Matthew 24:14;
Jeremiah 5:18;
Haggai 2:7.

The song, titled: "The Spoilers Are Come" ~
is about the "fallen angels" / demons, making their (not so) grand reappearance into this fallen world and, all of the chaos that will ensue here on earth among the un-saved and mankind's unsuccessful attempt to stand together (without CHRIST), against these fallen angel / demons, as they begin to unleash havoc onto an UN-SAVED WORLD. In the Bible if you recall, fallen angels are entities who rebelled against GOD and were cast out of heaven, often playing a role in GOD'S judgment on mankind because of sin,
(Revelation 9:14 for instance), and ultimately facing their own judgment alongside humans on the Day of Judgement.

"The Spoilers are Come" is a short 3 minute song.
It's ROCK, it's a sharp, rebellious, quick to the point.
This is the basic arrangement.. It's by no means complete, or settled I should say.
It's still a work in progress !
