The General Hospital

Reel 1 shows general hospitals in New Caledonia, India, England, and Iran. Medical corpsmen build a general hospital on New Guinea. Shows and explains the operation of a hospital center. Litter bearers remove wounded; a surgical team operates at a general hospital; a patient is fitted with an artificial eye; and physical therapists help patients. Reel 2 describes the functions of a general hospital. Shows activities in the dental, X-ray, bacteriology, and pharmacy sections. Patients take reconditioning exercises. Patients board ships for the U.S.
