Petr Yan is back. His domination of Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC Macau put him directly in conversation for a shot at the title held by Merab Dvalishvili. Petr Yan controlled the lead hand of Deiveson Figueiredo. He denied the takedowns. And his performance was one of the best of his career.

After all she’s hitting harder and taunting her opponent.

Muslim Salikhov had a highlight knockout against Kenan Song. But was it unique? Not really. Muslim Salikhov has so many wheel kick finishes. Seriously, the Sanda champion has like five to his name. At 40, Muslim Salikhov has a two fight winning streak going.

Carlos Ulberg looked as good as he’s ever looked at UFC Macau. He won his bout against Volkan Oezdemir in style. Consistently looking for that fade back lead left hand, Carlos Ulberg was very much in the zone. What impressed me most is his footwork, however. He consistently exited at an angle and made Volkan Oezdemir miss all night. Carlos Ulberg vs. Alex Pereira in the future, anyone?
