NOVEMBER 24, 2024 - CELEBRATE THE HARVEST

“You shall keep the FEAST OF HARVEST, of the 1st FRUITS of your labour, of what you sow in the field. You shall keep the FEAST OF INGATHERING at the END of the year, when you gather in from the field the fruit of your labour. (Exodus 23:16)

2-Harvest Festivals each year
1st Festival was when they took in the first fruits of the harvest.
2nd Festival at the end of the season when everything was gathered in.

1. CELEBRATE (vs. 13)
CELEBRATE the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress.

COMMUNION 1 Cor. 10:16
“Is not the cup of Thanksgiving for which you give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ?”
“And is the bread we brake a participation in the body of Christ?

2. JOYFUL (vs. 14)
Be JOYFUL at your festival—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.

3. BLESSINGS (vs. 15)
For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will BLESS you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.

(1) Obeying God in small matters is an essential step in receiving God’s greatest blessings.
(2) Often, God’s greatest blessings come as a result of our willingness to do something that appears very insignificant.
(3) When we obey God, we will never be disappointed.

4. GIFT (vs. 17)
Each of you must bring a GIFT in proportion to The Way the Lord your God has blessed you.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)
