At a meeting in the Kremlin, Veronika Skvortsova informed the President about the participation of FMBA units in a special military operation:

The agency's doctors, along with the military, are on the front line, taking the wounded out of the combat zone;

Mobile hospitals have been deployed in border areas, medical care is being provided to military personnel and civilians, and operations are being carried out;

A comprehensive system of rehabilitation and rehabilitation treatment of military personnel has been established;

🔹Blood, blood components, plasma are harvested;

Vehicles have been modernized, armored ambulances have appeared.

Another important area of the agency's work is scientific developments and innovative products in the field of biotechnology. Veronika Skvortsova told about this in the second part of her report:

In recent years, the FMBA has managed to create a powerful scientific cluster of 35 research centers. As a result, over the years 2020-2024, more than 100 products, medicines, test systems, and medical devices have been developed, tested, put into practice and registered;

Among other things, domestic devices for blood transfusion, plasmapheresis, and sorting of shaped blood elements have been created;

One of the most significant developments, the Convacel recombinant protein vaccine against covid, has demonstrated extremely high efficacy during the third phase of research;

🔸The Institute of Immunology of the FMBA has developed an innovative drug – a combined allergovaccine, currently its clinical trials are underway;

Technological platforms have been developed to create vaccines against pneumococcus, meningococcus, hemophilus B infection;

Immunotherapy of oncological diseases is becoming a reality: FMBA is working on the creation of personalized medicines, oncovaccines.
