EXAMINES AND COMMENTS ON THE SOCIOLOGICAL, SCIENTIFIC, TECHNOLOGICAL, MEDICAL, HISTORICAL, AND ASTRONOMICAL ADVANCES OF THE LUNAR MISSIONS PROGRAM, AND THEIR PRESENT AND FUTURE RELATIONSHIP TO MANKIND. PORTRAYS THE PSYCHOLOGICAL UPLIFT THAT MAN EXPERIENCED AS U.S. ASTRONAUTS ACHIEVED THE DREAM OF REACHING THE MOON, AND THE RESULTING INCREASE OF FELLOWSHIP ON EARTH AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN SPACE.
