On postwar housing. Reel 1, slum dwellings are razed. Prefabricated houses are made in a factory and assembled. Shows panorama of a modern housing development. Reel 2 shows new homes under construction, building materials being processed, and views of a modern apartment house and a housing development. An animated cartoon shows Pvt. Snafu introducing Seaman Tarfu who scrubs a deck, pipes an admiral aboard, and keeps a lookout from the crow's nest.
