Elon Musk (Myth20c - Ep281)

Legend has it that before setting out for the Trans-Antarctic Expedition in 1914, Ernest Shackleton posted an ad in a London newspaper proclaiming, "Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in event of success." If there is a parallel to the audacity of a leader in the 21st century, it has to be Elon Musk. Transforming not only the automotive and energy sectors with behemoth Tesla, artificial intelligence with full self driving, Twitter and now X, but building interplanetary rockets and a constellation of internet satellites, Musk has proven time and time again that what seemed hazardous, with long hours, questionable financials, and to most seemingly impossible - in actuality is very much possible with Musk at the helm. Some have compared him to Steve Jobs of Apple fame, but in many ways Musk has far surpassed him. Tonight we are joined by returning guest Woe from Stone Choir, who used to work at Apple, to try to fathom the depth and breadth of Elon’s many endeavors, and try to understand what it all means in the greater scope of human civilization.
