King's Grant Golf & Country Club
King’s Grant is a spectacularly designed, semi-private 18 hole golf course from the mind of Jim Holmes, who was an architect for Jack Nicklaus Design. The course boasts a topography of long undulating mounds and swells, and was designed with large A1/A4 Bermuda Greens and beautiful vistas from which to strike your golf ball.

Each hole has a unique blend of elevation and scenic views that invite you to test the course, but beware; she holds perfectly placed bunkers, depth perception challenges and almost benign elevation rises and drops.

If you choose to test the corners and fly over the tall pines that sit as guardians to the green, like a knight would stand at the tower wall to protect their King, they will protect the course.

In June of 2020, the course was closed for course and clubhouse renovations. The greens were converted to TifEagle Ultradwarf Bermuda Grass, which will perform better in the heat of summer. The course also underwent a significant irrigation upgrade with the installation of new satellite controllers, all green heads have been replaced along with numerous irrigation projects, major cart path repair and even a new cart path installed on our fifth and most beautiful hole.

Additionally, the fifth hole has undergone a new lower fairway renovation, so now you have two fairways to choose from. All tee boxes now have grass due to the installation of over thirty thousand square feet of 419 and Celebration Bermuda Grass as well as new tee markers, tee signs to indicate yardages.

The Phoenix bar and clubhouse was totally remodeled to host events or enjoy a relaxing drink, lunch or dinner with family or friends. The outer deck is a great place to enjoy an afternoon in the sun or root for our favorite player in our golf tournaments, like the Waste Management Phoenix Open where you can heckle the players. It is this type of atmosphere that the Phoenix is known for, welcome to The Phoenix! We never rest!
