The chronology of the deadly wound and the events before
Revelation 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat (Thronos) of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
I believe these events above are a result of the deadly wound

The description of the deadly wound
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat (Thronos), and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Here is the sister verse to these events---Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

For all of you pre trib rapture believers; Patience doesn’t mean flying away, it means to remain and endure. You need to quit using Revelation 3:10 as a reference to a pre trib rapture.

Back to Revelation 13
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

It is a must that we remember this beast system will be healed or brought back into play before the end.

Revelation 17 explains all the terminology used regarding the beast and the beast system

Revelation 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: (Isaiah 1:21, Jeremiah 2:20)

4 And the woman ( not a woman but called “SHE”) was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Mystery Babylon, the ruler of nations-kings who worship the god of materialism and the beast system. Many in the world today have sold their soul and made a covenant with the devil. It’s worldwide, on a scale like never before. Bribery, blackmail and subversion are epidemic.

5 And upon her forehead (In her mind) was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Verse five is a sister verse to 2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
False religion, deception, confusion and the worship of the beast and the beast system. The Mystery of Iniquity and Mystery Babylon are one in the same. Both refer to the tree of satan at work in the world today.

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (Deception-confusion in these kingdoms is the rule of the day- they are enticed or seduced by the beast and the beast system)

7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, (They will wonder if this entity is Christ or antichrist) whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. (First age this age and the one to come)
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (7 dominions or kingdoms)
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

There are 7 kingdoms from beginning to the end. In Daniel 2 the vision of Nebuchadnezzar gives us 5 kingdoms; Babylon, Medo Persia, Greece, Rome and the Mohammedan kingdoms. The next to come will be antichrist at the 666 seal trump and vial.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, (The 8th is the Millennium) and is of the seven, (Ruled in all previous kingdoms) and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, (Supernatural fallen angels) which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

The Hour of temptation

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. (Look around these people are all of one mind
14 These (The Beast system and the beast) shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns (Supernatural) which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. (18:12-16, Daniel 11:38, 18:6, 14:8)
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (1:20 and 2 Thess. 2:7)

The woman is not a literal city but she is a state of mind in the end times. Most people will be totally confused by the deception of the beast system.
--Babylon—a state of confusion.

Satan’s tentacles are stretched forth throughout the entire world and they are accomplishing his evil agenda.
Many in the world today refuse to acknowledge the existence of satan and God so the source of this iniquity is a mystery to them.

In the end the beast and the beast system will be destroyed

Daniel 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Satan will stand in the Holy Place and claim to be god. The Holy place of your heart is where Christ dwells and the literal Holy Place is the Temple which is between the glorious and Holy Mountain.

Currently Satan rules and reins from his habitation in the heavens where he is bound in chains by Michael. We must realize he has many seats or thrones of power here on earth in one of his main titles called the prince and the power of this world.

Many people in all walks of life in this current time have sold their souls to the devil and they don’t even try to hide it anymore. Daniel in 9:26 calls them the “people of the prince” and they have come to destroy the kingdom of God and the mighty and Holy people.

What I see in the world today is an attempt to fight back against the forces of evil which will cause a deadly wound to this current evil beast system. But the setback for the evil forces will only be temporary as the deadly wound will be healed by the appearance of the false messiah.

We are very close to the end of this current age. After the antichrist appears we will have about 5 months until Jesus Christ appears at the second coming.

Bullinger says this mention of the word martyr is referring to a latter time. Dr Strong says it is referring to Stephen. The Greek uses the word “anti” as in antipas which means instead-of, so the literal meaning is fake father.
The Greeks worshiped Esculapius which had the title of Soter or savior at that time whose emblem was the serpent. I believe this is why the word antipas is used.
This can be looked at from many perspectives. We know this is speaking about satans throne at that time but this can also be a “type” for all times. Satan is the prince and the power of the air right now and he rules from his location (Throne) in heaven where he is restrained in chains by Michael.

On the other hand if this is speaking about satans role as antichrist his throne would be the Holy temple or what is left of it. This could be the dome of the rock to be more specific.

In the abstract, one other location of the throne of the beast system or the beast that is in charge could be Davos where the globalists meet every year to make their evil plans for the world.

The WEF is mostly known for its annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, a mountain resort in the eastern Alps region of Switzerland. The meeting brings together some 3,000 paying members and selected participants – among whom are investors, business leaders, political leaders, economists, celebrities and journalists – for up to five days to discuss global issues across 500 sessions.

It is important to recognize the terminology of the Bible. You don’t necessarily have to sit on a literal throne to rule from it. The beast system and the beast are not one in the same. Think of the “beast system” as a giant monstrosity with a mind of its own.

Think of the “beast” as an entity or an inanimate object. People often call their car a beast or even their tractor. The same goes for the word “she”.

More perspective on the throne of satan and where and when this will take place in the end. These examples of false doctrine were taught back then and will be taught right before the second coming.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Who-what is Balic?
Joshua 13:2 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them. (It is a doctrine or teaching of a false sense of security such as the rapture the ultimate soothsayer doctrine)
Most of what is taught in the modern Church falls under the heading of “soothsayer” doctrine to make you feel good.

I believe the Church of Pergamos is a type of Church that exists in the very end of times. Many Christians will be delivered up to the magistrates of satan as martyrs just as Stephen was. The seat or throne of satan will be in the Temple and those who are delivered up will use the Sword of the Lord to give a testimony against the antichrist in favor of Jesus Christ.

Daniel 11:30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
