Do Good People go to Heaven?

When you ask someone the question “Will you go to heaven” and the response is “yes” or “I believe so”, what is the reason you quite often receive? “I’m basically a good person”. Or “I try to follow the 10 Commandments”.
Many people do believe that they will go to heaven based off their efforts. But what is the standard we much achieve? How good do we have to be? How many of the Biblical laws do we need to follow?
Today, Donn Schroeder delivers an amazing message that zeros in on this exact topic we have all dealt with, and provides prime reasons we can share with others when we try to answer the question “Do Good People go to Heaven?”

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help!
Please watch our archive of messages on a variety of topics. Please like and share our content with others that can benefit from what God has inspired our array of speakers to bring to the body.
Most importantly, be sure you are secure in your relationship with God and Christ Jesus. It is so simple. Do not wait. Tomorrow may be too late…
