Civil War and later military service and pension records
Confederate slave payrolls
Bureau of Pensions Law Division case files
Freedmen’s Bureau records
Freedman’s Savings and Trust Company records
Southern Claims Commission claims files
Coastwise slave ship manifests
Fugitive slave case files
