This video shows a group of kids doing a little experiment with a frog and a lightning bug. There are a couple of frogs on the table a firefly, a beetle known for its ability to glow in the dark. Fireflies produce a chemical reaction inside their bodies that allows them to light up, and this type of light production is called bioluminescence. So, first, they feed the frog with the lightning bug, and then turn off the light, point a flashlight toward the table where the frog is and leave her in a shadow.
