The son of the ferocious ages.
Episode One hundred and twenty five.

The Water Pearl.

The rain had stopped, but the man remained on the lookout, intrigued by the strange behavior of this "Fire-Haired" hunter he had just glimpsed.

Go! Go! Faster! Rahan is sure that you will win this race!
The son of Crao amused himself by following the course of the drops on a large leaf.
Well? What are you waiting for, "Water-Pearl"!?
Go back. Go back quickly!

His "favorite" had just stopped, held by a tiny hole in the leaf.
As he leaned over to express his spite.
Oh. What. What. Rahan has never seen that!

Through the drop of water, forming a magnifying glass.

Could the "Water Pearl" allow us to see things that Rahan's eye cannot see?

They soon took him to a village where two hunters were fighting.
Kaharg is crazy!
He claims that by putting water in this bamboo one can see "That-which-is-not-seen"!

One of the men, probably the leader, dipped the tube into a jar full of water.
Look everyone! Orka fills this tube with water.

And. He sees nothing! Nothing at all! Here is the proof that Kaharg lied! Or that he was deceived by this hunter with the "Fire-Hair"!
Orka and Kaharg are as stupid as each other!

Rahan will explain to you. Oh!
The son of Crao rushed forward but.

A heavy cage made of solid spikes fell on him, imprisoning him.
Orka the leader and his men were already running.

Ha-ha-ha! Could it be you, the so-called sorcerer who claims to see in this bamboo the things "that we do not see"!

The moon lit up the forest as if it were daylight. Kaharg led Rahan to a cave, from which growls rose.
It is so clear that the "Great Baloua" does not sleep!

A huge grizzly suddenly appeared at the entrance of the cave. He had felt the presence of men.
Do not move, Rahan! None of us has ever been able to knock out the "Grand-baloua"!

But the son of the fierce ages was already rushing forward.

However, after being worked on for a long time and sanded with sand dust, the quartz became transparent, translucent like spring water.

Rahan and Kaharg took turns, giving each other no respite. The quartz had taken the form of an enormous lens.
Our "Eye-that-sees-what-we-cannot-see" will soon be finished, Kaharg!

And that was when.
Look there! Kill! Kill!
A screaming pack rushed towards them.

The son of Crao petrified them with a single gesture!
Would you dare kill those who bring the big water pearl to your leader!
Oh!

You wanted an "Eye that Grows," Orka? You wanted a giant "Water Pearl"? Here is one!

Rahan placed the glittering lens on the hollow knot of the tree skin.
This "Eye" is not made of water, but look how it grows! Look!

Page Ten.

But. But. I do not see anything! Nothing at all!
Look closer!

The son of Crao placed himself on the other side of the "Tree Skin." And.
Orka screamed in amazement and joy.
Through the quartz eye, Rahan's enormous blue eye was looking at him with malice!
It is magic!

You have just proven yourself to be a great sorcerer, "Fire-Hair"!
You can stay among us as long as you like!
Rahan is just a simple hunter, Okra.

For Rahan, son of the fierce ages, this had been only a banal adventure.
As he plunged into the jungle the first drops of an upcoming downpour crackled.
Happy to be alive, he offered himself to the "Pearls of water" that burst on his face.
