The Salute

In this Sunday School lesson, we look at the salutation of the Apostle Paul to the Philippians, from which we draw six observations. First we see that the salute of which we're familiar today is not the type of salute to which Paul refers, along with the American Pledge of Allegiance. Secondly, we see the need for the church to be full of saints. Thirdly, we see the need to preach the Gospel, in order to get support from other saints. Fourth, we see the potential for us to reach many, even those in high places, like the Apostle Paul did. Fifth, we seen the danger of using modern Bible PerVersions. Finally, we see the need for us all to desire, and to pray for, God's grace.

This lesson was taught by Bro. Jade Lazaruis on 6-30-2024 at Independence Baptist Church in Ocala, Florida. Bible text: Phil. 4:21-23.
