Ryan Borgwardt is alive and well after staging a kayaking accident in August. Authorities believe Borgwardt has fled to Uzbekistan but they are uncertain on his exact whereabouts. Borgwardt reportedly went kayaking on Green Lake, where he dumped his phone in the water and used an inflatable boat back to shore. Borgwardt then used his electric bike before jumping on a bus and crossing into Canada. Back in June, a street interviewer interviewed a man in San Diego who said he was considering moving to Uzbekistan for a woman. It's unclear if this man is Borgwardt however their stories seem to line up.
