Lunar Soil/Regolith Simulant Unboxing & Review

This video is an unboxing and review of the Lunar Soil/Regolith Simulant made by Space Resource Technologies which is associated with the Exolith Lab at the University of Central Florida.

I do a lot of public outreach through my astronomy club to schools, libraries, etc. We often have a display on a table explaining things about the universe. I plan on using these Lunar Soil/Regolith Simulants to show the public what type of soil is on the Moon.

In the video, I compare it to the Mars soil simulant I received from the Exolith Lab a few years ago. I discuss the value of something like is for a souvenir or for use during public outreach about space exploration.

There's a new NASA effort called the Artemis mission to return to the Moon and set up a base at the South Pole.
