CLEANING up the GARDEN for next Spring! PLANTING some cold tolerant SEEDS! Saving some FLOWER seeds

I am starting to clean up the garden to help with the weeds next year! I have to find a way to control the weeds better! I'm going to lay more carboard and put the chicken coop shavings on top of them as another barrier.

Check out the seeds I saved from some of the flower plants to be able to plant next year! A $2 packet of heirloom seeds can last forever if you save seeds each year and plant your own.

I also am trying a new experiment this year! I am rotating some of my plants and I am planting my beets, carrots, onions, celery, and brussel sprouts this fall to see if they come up in the spring! We are zone 6B in Michigan so let's see if it works!
