It’s been a nail-biting week!

First the good news… Bill 24 was NOT passed at the Legislature and it going back for debate. Unfortunately, the amendments brought forward are nothing to rave about and only suggest including an “Oake’s test” clause. We’ll get into what this is.

Sadly, while Pat King was acquitted for a number of charges, he was convicted of five counts including mischief and disobeying a court order. We are disappointed with this ruling for Pat and the impacts this can have on continuing Convoy cases still in the court, including Byron Carr's.

Next up, Jaime Gale has received the factum from the Town of Kingsville on her civil claim to stop the AMI Smart Water Meter installation at her home. Looks like the town has a weak defence and is grasping at straws.
