In this [AEHR | Aehr Test Systems | Quick Update] video , we will be discussing [Aehr Test Systems], a semiconductor company specializing in testing equipment. We previously did a quick take due diligence on Aehr, which you can view via the bonus link in the notes. However, we noticed a significant drop in Aehr's stock price and wanted to investigate further.

We discovered that Aehr had announced preliminary financial results for their 2024 third quarter and updated their guidance, which was poor. This news also came with some notable trends to keep in mind. Moreover, Aehr will be pre-announcing their earnings for April 9th, causing us to remove them from our watchlist due to this negative pre-release.

Some factors that may impact other trades include Aehr's mention of weakness in electric vehicles, which utilize semiconductors. Delays in orders for these shipments will ultimately push out Aehr's backlog. Additionally, there is a glut in semiconductors and inventory, causing a decline in near-term orders for companies in the automotive and electric vehicle sectors. This glut may also affect other semiconductor stocks outside of the AI sector.
