Advent Is Not What Most People Think It Is.|✝

Today is black Friday. For most people that means it's the true start of the Christmas season. I've already done a video on when the real Christmas season is, and it won't begin for a while. However, there's a religious season that does roughly correspond to the modern conception of the Christmas season and that's Advent. This year, for most people, Advent starts on Sunday the first of December. People usually think of Advent as a time to put up wreaths and light candles to prepare for the birth of Jesus. Well, there used to be a lot more to the practice Advent than that and those of us who tend to put on a few extra pounds this time of year would probably be better for it too. Let me explain why!
