SCRIPTURE READING FOR TODAY
Gen 21:27-34

The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 21:33-34
At Beersheba, Abimelech and Abraham had a peace treaty. Consequently, Abraham got back his siezed wells from the Philistines. Abraham immediately, called on the name of the Lord. The word 'called' in Hebrew stands for 'publish'. Abraham published and declared the name of the Lord. He was proud of his God so much so that he could brag about Him. He carried his God everywhere, making Him known. What are you doing for the Lord to show that you appreciate His interventions? Brag about your God today. Secondly, Abraham's lifestyle was that of a foreigner in a strange land, looking for a land, whose builder and maker was God. Heb 11:9-10

33 Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba, and there he worshiped the LORD, the Eternal God.
34 And Abraham lived as a foreigner in Philistine country for a long time.

9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Personal Supplication
Father, help me live like a heavenly citizen in this 'strange' land called Earth, looking intently for my redemption.
Heb 11:9-10

9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Weekly Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, And under his wings shalt I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee throughout this week in Jesus' name!

Only with my eyes shalt I behold And see the wicked receive their rewards. Because I have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!

JESUS IS LORD!
