Vem Miller, a 49 year old Las Vegas man, was arrested at a checkpoint ahead of a rally for former President Donald Trump in Southern California on Saturday, deputies found him with a shotgun, a loaded handgun, a high capacity magazine, multiple passports in different names and an unregistered vehicle. Authorities, including the Secret Service and FBI, confirmed that Trump was never in danger. Miller's arrest comes after two recent assassination attempts against Trump. Ryan Wesley Ruth was charged in September for trying to assassinate Trump with a high powered rifle outside Trump International Golf Club in July, Thomas Matthew crooks shot Trump in the ear at a rally, killing one attendee and injuring two others before being killed by Secret Service agents.
