Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast
We get another quiet day today with pleasant temperatures and humidity. High pressure will be in charge for one more day with highs today in the upper-70s, though cooler readings along Lake Michigan. Tonight, the next area of low pressure will be inching toward the area, but all it will bring us are increasing clouds tonight. Lows will still be comfortable with overnight readings in the upper-50s. Tomorrow, that low pressure will be even closer bringing some chances of a few scattered showers or a rumble of thunder mainly as the afternoon progresses. With more cloudiness and an easterly breeze, we won't get very warm with highs in the low-70s and cooler readings along Lake Michigan. As this low pressure passes to our south on Tuesday night, that'll be our best chance for areas of rain or a T'storm. Lows will be around 60. Wednesday might start with a stray morning shower, but then the sun will come back with highs in the upper-70s, though cooler readings lakeside. Get ready for heat and humidity later this week with 90s in the forecast starting Friday, into the weekend.
