Uganda's Hydro Power Giant Under Construction! Free Hydro Energy 600 MW

The construction of the Karuma Hydroelectric Power Station in Uganda, a 600 MW hydroelectric power project, is underway. Upon completion, it will stand as the largest power-generating facility in the country. Positioned on the Victoria Nile at the former site of the Karuma Falls, approximately 2.5 kilometers upstream from where the Masindi-Gulu Highway crosses the Nile, it is about 99 kilometers northeast of Masindi and 75 kilometers south of Gulu by road.
