On Monday, February 20, 2023, Officers Caffroni and Barnett responded to a call about an intoxicated ex-employee at a Chevrolet dealership. The woman had arrived to work earlier in the day and was not under the influence, but as the day wore on, she became noticeably intoxicated and began arguing with other employees. She was subsequently fired and asked to leave the property, but she refused and remained at her desk. When Officers Caffroni and Barnett arrived, they attempted to persuade the woman to leave, but she ignored their directions, so they placed her under arrest. While they were in the process of detaining her, she was yelling and pulling away. She was charged with Disturbing the Peace, Trespassing, and Resisting without Violence.
