Our town lost a hero, Sweetpea a stray who became the town's mascot of strength this song is for her and to all the fur babies that crossed the rainbow bridge and all those yet to come.

Lyrics Written by: Me and my friends Jessica Brecht and Tyler Cook

Verse 1:
In the quiet of the morning, when the world is still,

Sweetpea's gentle heart brings a warmth that fills.

With eyes so bright and a spirit so true,

She brings a light to every day, like morning dew.

Chorus:
Sweetpea, with your heart so pure,

In your strength and love, we find our cure.

Through every moment, both joy and strife,

Sweetpea, you light up our life.

Verse 2:
When the winds howl and the rain pours down,

Sweetpea with her paws stands tall, she never wears a frown.

With every challenge, she faces the fight,

Her spirit shines through, like a guiding light.

Chorus:
Sweetpea, with your paws so swift,

With your strength and love, everyday with you is like a gift.

Through every moment, both joy and strife,

Sweetpea, you light up our life.

Bridge:
A loner by nature, but a survivor at heart,

Sweetpea's courage sets her apart.

The whole town looks up to her as a beacon of light,

In her steadfast presence, we find our might.

When we're flooded with the dark, we don't need a stinkin' ark, all that's needed is to listen to her bark.

We may be in for one hell of a fight, but knowing Sweetpea is there

we'll do all right.

Chorus:
Sweetpea, with a bark so loud,

In your strength and love, we'll make you proud.

Through every moment, both joy and strife,

Sweetpea, you light up our life.

The news of your passing shook the whole town to tears,

The legacy you left behind will be remembered for years.

To every doggo, every kitty and throughout all the times that just ain't pretty, we will remember you.

Outro:
As the days go by, and the seasons change,

Sweetpea's love remains, constant and unchained.

In her embrace, we find our song,

With Sweetpea, our hearts belong.

We will remember you....
