#336 | Ridenour Confirms 1/2 of the Clark News & Braun Builds a Cabinet! | The Political Spotlight

In this 336th episode, Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey confirms that Muncie, Indiana, Mayor Dan Ridenour took steps to inform the public that two of his "Department Heads" are leaving their jobs! This aligns with the news that Bilbrey broke during episode 335.

That said, the Mayor was not entirely truthful with the public when he gave his "Community Update." He did not tell the citizens of Muncie that Dustin Clark would return to City Hall, working directly for the Mayor as a "Contract Employee." But he can only keep it hidden for so long, as the records and other actions will prove Bilbrey to be correct.

The Mayor's "Community Update" led to even more questions about what precisely the Administration is doing when the Mayor says they are "moving funds around." Bilbrey will, however, get the answers to those questions! But will the Mayor be as happy when the truth is exposed? Only time will tell!

Next, Bilbrey discusses the Muncie Redevelopment Commission meeting that occurred earlier in the day (Thursday, November 21, 2024.) Several important points of interest came up during the meeting, along with a couple of big questions that Bilbrey will also be working to answer.

To wrap up, Bilbrey looks at Indiana Governor-Elect Mike Braun's (R) most recent press release. The point of the release was to detail how the Governor-Elect and his transition team are reorganizing the Governor's Office and the entire executive branch of the Indiana state government. Like many political happenings, there are "pros and cons" to what the Governor-Elect hopes to accomplish. Bilbrey walks the audience through all of it!
