Call Me A Predator...

Matthew Taylor: Predator Misunderstood.
In today’s digital age, the term "predator" is often wielded carelessly, hurled at individuals as a weapon of slander and stigma. Matthew Taylor, a public figure and content creator, knows this all too well. Every day, accusations surface online branding him a "predator." But rather than retreating into a defensive shell, Taylor confronts the label head-on, redefining its meaning.
A Predator by Nature, but Not by Malice.
Taylor’s response to such accusations is simple yet profound: “Yes, I am a predator. But not in the way you think.” For those who claim otherwise, Taylor is quick to clarify: his predatory instincts are not directed toward harm or exploitation. Instead, they reflect his ambitious, driven personality. When he sets his sights on a goal, he pursues it relentlessly. If someone wrongs him, he doesn’t shrink from confrontation.
"I won’t lie down and let others define me," Taylor explains. "I’m a predator in the sense that I go after what I want in life with everything I’ve got. That’s what predators do: they survive, they thrive, and they refuse to be prey."
A Good Father, Not a Danger.
What makes the accusations particularly stinging is their dissonance from reality. Taylor is a devoted father to two children, a role he cherishes deeply. His daughter, now navigating university life, and his teenage son, an avid angler, know him as a supportive, loving parent.
"Children are not my focus, except for my own," he states. "I raise my kids to be strong, independent, and kind. That’s the extent of my interest in anyone else’s children.”
Facing Smears with Strength.
Taylor acknowledges that living in the public eye comes with its challenges, including becoming a target for baseless accusations. "Predator" is just one of the labels thrown his way. But rather than shy away, he has turned the narrative around, using the term as a badge of honour for his tenacity and resilience.
"I’ve faced lies, smears, and everything in between," Taylor reflects. "But here’s the thing: predators don’t crumble under pressure. They adapt, they fight back, and they emerge stronger."
A Lesson in Reclaiming Identity.
Matthew Taylor’s story serves as a reminder that words, while powerful, can be redefined. Accusations may fly, but how one chooses to confront them can transform the narrative. For Taylor, being a predator means being unyielding, determined, and protective—not of tearing others down but of building himself and his family up.
As the man himself puts it: “You can call me a predator if you like. Just make sure you know what kind I am.”
