The Precision Matthews PM-1340GT Taiwanese lathe has all of the precision of a 1440 Taiwanese gunsmithing lathe at just over half the cost. In this video we take the lathe out of the crate, assemble it, hook it up to power, get it degreased, and make some chips. We'll go over the controls, specs, feeds, speeds, and included accessories.
